October 2026 Itinerary

Day 1 - October 4, 2026 - Arrival in Cairo

  • Your Egypt adventure and Nile cruise starts with an easy, stress-free pickup from the Cairo International Airport and transport to the Great Pyramid Inn in Giza.
  • Check-in to your Hotel in Giza where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Giza Pyramids.

Day 2 - October 5, 2026 - Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum

  • Breakfast at the hotel - included
  • Your adventure starts today when we visit the Pyramid complex which includes the Great Pyramid of Khufu and smaller pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, Valley Temple and the mysterious Sphinx.
  • Optional activities (Prices are subject to change and are paid in cash at the Pyramids):
    Entry inside the Great Pyramid of Khufu USD $30
    Smaller pyramids USD $7 each
    Camel ride or horse drawn carriage to the panoramic viewing area USD $20
  • In the afternoon, we will visit the Grand Egyptian Museum. Taking over 20 years to complete, the GEM covers 500,000 square meters, about 70 soccer fields, and is the world's largest archaeological museum complex.

Day 3 - October 6, 2026 - Saqqara, Old Cairo & Flight to Luxor

  • Breakfast at the hotel - included
  • We will be checking out of our Cairo hotel and explore more of Cairo before our evening flight to Luxor.
  • This morning we will visit Saqqara and the Step Pyramid of Djoser: The oldest known Egyptian stone structure and first pyramid built in the 27th century BC.
  • Also, in the Saqqara complex is the Serapeum. An underground burial place of the sacred Apis Bulls, containing more than 60 stone sarcophaguses weighing up to 70-80 tons.
  • In the afternoon we visit Old Cairo and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali located in the Salah El Din Citadel and the Coptic Orthodox Hanging Church.
  • Evening flight departure from Cairo to Luxor and check-in to our Luxor hotel.

Day 4 - October 7, 2026 - Karnak & Luxor Temples

  • Breakfast at the hotel - included
  • On our first morning in Luxor, we will visit Karnak Temple, the second-largest temple complex in the world. Construction spanned more than 2,000 years, beginning around 2000 BCE.
  • Later, we will visit Luxor Temple, an impressive temple complex located on the east bank of the Nile in the heart of modern Luxor. Built primarily during the New Kingdom around 1400 BCE.
  • In the afternoon we will visit an Egyptian spice shop with some free time to explore the Luxor market.
  • In the evening an optional visit to the Karnak sound and light show. USD $30 (Optional)

Day 5 - October 8, 2026 - Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut Temple

  • A very exciting morning with a sunrise hot air balloon ride over Luxor. USD $80 (Optional)
  • Return to the hotel for breakfast - included
  • After breakfast we depart for the Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground for the Pharaohs from over 3,000 years ago! Entry to King Tut's tomb USD $20 (Optional)
  • Afternoon visit to Queen Hatshepsut Mortuary Temple.
  • After Hatshepsut's Temple we will visit the Colossi of Memnon.
  • We will have a special treat for dinner as we dine with a local Egyptian family to enjoy an authentic Egyptian home cooked meal. - included

Day 6 - October 9, 2026 - Deir el-Medina, Ramesseum & Board Dahabiya

  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner included
  • Today we will visit some of Luxor's lesser-known sites. Our first stop is Deir el-Medina, a workers' village and cemetery tombs that provides an unparalleled glimpse into the lives of the skilled artisans who built and decorated the royal tombs in the Valleys of the Kings and Queens.
  • We then proceed to the Ramesseum, the memorial temple of King Ramses II. The temple is renowned for the remains of a colossal seated statue of Ramses II, which once stood approximately 62 feet high and weighed over 1,000 tons.
  • All-aboard! We have an afternoon check-in to our dahabiya yacht as we begin our sail down the Nile.

Day 7 - October 10, 2026 - Temple of Horus at Edfu

  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner included
  • The guided tour of today begins by visiting one of the most wonderful temples in Egypt, Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is considered one of the most well-preserved temples in Egypt.
  • We will revert back to the ship. Lunch will be served on board while sailing to the small village of Bassawo where we can have a leisurely walk around the small village and meet some of the locals.
  • Evening free to enjoy the scenes along the Nile.

Day 8 - October 11, 2026 - Kom Ombo Temple & Beach Party

  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner included
  • Our guided tour today will be Kom Ombo Temple. The double design was constructed to worship Sobek, the crocodile god and Horus the falcon god.
  • Afternoon some leisurely time on-board to enjoy the scenery as we sail the Nile.
  • Beach Party! Enjoy a delightful barbecue dinner on the beach with traditional music and dancing. Fun times!

Day 9 - October 12, 2026 - Philae Temple

  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner
  • We will have a motorboat ride to Agilkia Island and the Philae Temple, known as the Temple of Isis, Egypt's divine mother.
  • The temple is dedicated to Isis, Osiris, and Horus. The temple walls contain scenes from Egyptian mythology of Isis bringing Osiris back to life, giving birth to Horus, and mummifying Osiris after his death.
  • Evening free to enjoy the scenes along the Nile.

Day 10 - October 13, 2026 - Botanical Gardens & Nubian Village

  • Meals: Breakfast - included
  • This morning we will say goodbye to our dahabiya and depart the ship for more adventures.
  • We board a traditional wooden felucca for a scenic sail to Kitchener Island and the Botanical Gardens.
  • Afternoon check-in to our Nubian Village hotel of Gharb Suhyl. This is a traditional Nubian Village with vividly colored houses on the Nile River.
  • We will take a walking tour of the village. Our guide will provide insightful explanations about the Nubian Village and its heritage.

Day 11 - October 14, 2026 - Abu Simbel

  • Meals: Breakfast - included
  • This will be an early morning departure and approximately a 3.5 hour drive each way and a 2 hour visit to the Abu Simbel Temple Complex.
  • Upon arrival, stand in awe before the colossal statues of Pharaoh Ramses II, carved into the mountainside over 3,000 years ago. Explore the Great Temple and the Temple of Queen Nefertari, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
  • Upon return to Aswan some free time to independently explore the Nubian Village for some last minute shopping.

Day 12 - October 15, 2026 - Departure Day

  • Meals: Breakfast - boxed to go
  • This morning, we will say goodbye to our Nubian hosts and check-out of our Aswan hotel for your flight to Cairo and your departure home with some unique photos and unforgettable memories.
  • Hurghada Extension: For those traveling to the Red Sea, we will have a full day's travel by motor coach to Hurghada on the Red Sea where we will check into our all-inclusive resort for more fun times!

Day 13 - October 16, 2026 - Hurghada City Tour (Extension)

  • All Meals Included
  • Morning to relax and enjoy amenities at the resort.
  • In the afternoon we will enjoy a city tour of Hurghada. Tour Highlights: El Mina Mosque, Fish Market, Local Egyptian Market & Hurghada Marina.

Day 14 - October 17, 2026 - Desert Safari & Stargazing (Extension)

  • All Meals Included
  • Morning to relax and enjoy Hurghada.
  • In the afternoon we will depart for a stargazing tour: Jeep Safari through the desert, Bedouin Village Visit, Camel Ride, and Telescope Experience with an expert astronomer.
  • End the evening in the Bedouin Camp with a candle-lit dinner under the stars.

Day 15 - October 18, 2026 - Free Day in Hurghada (Extension)

  • All Meals Included
  • Free day to enjoy our all-inclusive resort in Hurghada.

Day 16 - October 19, 2026 - Departure from Hurghada (Extension)

  • Check-out of our Hurghada resort for your early morning flight to Cairo and your departure home with some unique photos and unforgettable memories.

Refund Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refunds are calculated based on the number of days prior to the scheduled departure date:

  • The $500 deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • 30+ days before departure: Full refund minus the $500 deposit.
  • 15 – 30 days before departure: 50% of the total package price will be charged as a cancellation penalty.
  • 7 – 14 days before departure: 75% cancellation fee applies.
  • Less than 7 days before departure or no-show: No refund will be issued (100% cancellation fee).

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment.
